Bike Repair January 2, 2025Can you heat hydraulic brake cable to bend it? I’ve got a surly corner bar and the hydraulic brake cables are a tad too short. But, some guy i know told me i could heat the brake cable with a heatgun or a hairdryer to bend it at an angle to make the cables bend more naturally. Is this a thing?
