Vintage Bicycles January 11, 2023FRESH HOOPS! Project “Paula Jean” 1968 Western Flyer. My bike shop guy decided my original unmatched hoops were beat, so he gave me these Schwinn S-7 ones for free! The front spokes are new, but the rears are not, so I had to polish those up a bit to blend better with the new.
Vintage Bicycles January 10, 2023just finished my build and now I want an “adventure” version.. Does anyone know any similar looking frames that will take 700×32 tyres?
Vintage Bicycles January 9, 2023Stripped down the Royal Enfield Pacemaker to the frame and forks- I will be swapping out the Cinelli stem/bars for a lovely GB stem and GB Maes bars. I’ve bolted on the Sturmey Archer high flange hubs and they fit! As for the paint, a coat or two of wax to preserve the gorgeous patina.
