Let me show you around the Belgian city of Liège on the first day of spring. I take you from the central train station Liège-Guillemins, across the river La Meuse, up a 15% steep cobbled climb to the viewpoint on the citadel Montagne de Bueren. Traffic was sketchy, so I tried to behave and thank pedestrians for making space for me to pass.
