Pull harder. And makes sure it’s the right size for that chain. Looks good to me though

Rotate so the link is between your cassette and chain ring on the top. Hold your brakes and stamp on your pedal (chain ring side)

Use quicklink pliers?

Hold the breaks, put your weight on the seat and give the pedals a hard push
No-Interview-6097 on
Move the pedals to where the master link is inbetween the chain ring and cassette. Hold the brakes and give the pedals a good pedal forward. You should hear the master link ping / click into place

Park tool pliers. I paid 14 bucks, totally worth it.
Crank pedals with the link on top while holding rear wheel
DHjam on
Hold the rear brake and pedal forward, with the master link in between the front and rear gears top side of chain. Or get some bike chain pliers.

Bend and snap

Push both chain ends toward each other while the chain hangs slack on the bottom run, that usually seats it. Or grab a pair of master link pliers, they make this way easier.

Did you buy that chain off of amazon? Looks like a fake kmc x10
