Oh, you are following highway line… I hoped you will go through south Bulgarian mountains :)))) I wanted to revisited through your objective :))) Well, the sights will not be as pretty, but it is warmer in the central Bulgaria than in mountains – I guess that was the most logical route to take in autumn

  3. I was wondering why a fit, young bloke like yourself had opted for an electric bike – that explains it, and I am sorry to hear about the pain. Much credit to you for not just giving up and finding a way to continue on with your dreams. It has inspired me as I too get knee pain but am much older than you and want to do cycle touring as well, I also have ataxia (balance issues) and the trike does seem like a good solution for that.

Yves, your knees bend very sharply on on the return pedal… I had to replace the 172mm crankarms with 152mm crank arms (long crankarms cause your kneews to bend more sharply). and put spacers between the pedals and crankarms, to push my feet further apart. (spacers puts them in alignment with my hips.)

  6. If you get sore on a bicycle, you must adjust your position. To adjust seat hight, you must put your HEAL on the pedal, and straighten your leg. On a trike it will be the distance between your seat and pedal. I do not know what adjustments are possible on a trike. Clip in shoes will increase your available power, and exercise more muscles. Wear a helmet at all times.
