  1. You’ll need to bleed after swapping them. depending on the condition of the olive, you may have to clip the ends off and replace the olive and barb, but they may just seal up.

    Not all the fluid, but a couple drops will. Doing a quick lever bleed after you’re done is recommended but usually not necessary if you’re careful.

    Angle the levers so they’re pointing up when you remove the hoses, this will reduce how much fluid leaks out.
