    „A bit dated”… indeed. But great window back into those times when mountainbiking was more about exploring nature and adventure rather than performance and bike parks.

    My German bike bible is from 1988. Remember they had it in our public library and I was best customer as a 5th grader (before I acquired my personal copy much later). Fun to read the manufacturer overview and bike recommendations section.

    I totally forgot about it, but yeah, I got that when it was fresh off the presses… well, probably 1987 anyway. 🙂 Right after I bought my 14 speed Bianchi at Penn Cycle in Richfield, MN.
