Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a new gravel bike and I've narrowed it down to two carbon models. I am 190 cm tall with a 92 cm inseam

Both bikes use the same drivetrain: a full Shimano GRX 1×12 setup (RX822 rear derailleur, RX610 shifters/crank, and 10-51T Deore cassette). Since the performance of the gears and brakes is identical, I am focusing on the frame, weight, and price differences

Comparison of Key Differences

Feature Cube Nuroad C:62 ONE Kross Esker ADV 1.0
Price €2,000 €2,300
Weight 9.4 kg 10.1 kg
Frame Storage None Internal storage compartment
Bottom Bracket Pressfit (Shimano BB71) T47 Threaded (Acros)
Wheels Newmen Performance X.R. 25 Shimano RX180
Tyres Schwalbe G-One R Pro Schwalbe G-One R Allround
Cockpit (Handlebar/Seatpost) Carbon Aluminum
Stack/Reach 624/402 mm 623/402 mm
Link Cube NUROAD C:62 ONE Kross ESKER ADV 1.0

The Cube seems to offer better hardware for a lower price. It is 0.7 kg lighter, uses higher-end Pro tyres, and comes with a carbon handlebar and seatpost

However, I really like the integrated frame storage in Kross, and I like the painting more

I’ve also heard that both brands can sometimes have issues with frame warranty claims. However, since Kross is a domestic brand for me, I assume that local servicing and handling any potential claims would be much easier than with a foreign brand

Which one would you go for? Is the convenience of the frame storage, painting, and potentially better warranty service worth the €300 premium and the extra weight?

my Partner has the Cube, its a good bike but nothing really special.
dont focus too much on those 0.7kg weight difference, thats a solid poop in the morning.

Go with the one you like more, which is the Kross.
additionaly the threaded bb will make diy services so much easier.
