  1. Also when u need the extra speeds. A road bike will have it. Some hybrids only have a one by or a 3 by, heavier tires. But hybrids be heavier making them, yes comfortable but heavier. Roads are way lighter while having more gears

  2. Great analysis! But personally I just dealt with it by getting aero bars with a nice bend so I can get extra 2 positions and get myself into a different one too

  3. As someone who started on a Hybrid and went to a Road Bike, I always tell people Hybrids are more comfortable for the first 45 minutes to 1 hour. After that, Road Bikes are more comfortable. For me it was mainly that way too much weight was on the saddle, where with a road bike you get a better distribution between the saddle, your hands (but only a little), and your feet.

  4. I'm running a 5070ti but I need to turn on VRR, DLLS, Vsync, frame gen and so 😂 bro why not just say hey are game runs like ass and we have no plans right now to do anything about it.

  5. Rubbish, you can adopt close grip position on a hybrid bike. You can sit up and ride no handed if circumstances permit. I’ve ridden French end to end and the hybrid was a breeze compared to the same route years before on a road bike. It’s all down to personal preference!

  6. You don’t even ride a car for 3 h straight without stopping. These arguments are wrong.

Hybrid bikes are for smaller budgets, for people looking to ride smaller distances, usually inside cities where there is traffic and pedestrians.

Road bikes are for riding as long as possible, mostly for riding smooth, usually straight rural roads.

If hybrid bike is for riding in the park and around the neighbourhood, road bike is for riding between towns.

  7. Wrong !! 100% in a long ride you should have a lot of position to stretch out to release numbness and make circulation of your blood to make it good and your relaxation can often be change..so your muscle will not be so stress.

  8. You can change the bars a lot easier on a flat bar bike and if its a comfortable position for you then you don't need to constantly change your position. Plus you can easily add bar ends or other bar extensions to a flat bar if you need to change positions. Flat bar bikes are more versatile.

  9. Let's be honest.
A lot of times it's down to the softness of the saddle and the ergonomics of the grips.
On my "hybrid" "90s MTB setup I was albe to ride 100km (4 hours) with the limiting factor being…

    …my legs!
Also, I traversed a very mountainous terrain, with climbs and descents I'm rapid succession.

I think that that's che only problem.

Leaning too much is very stressful on my back

  10. That’s not entirely correct and hybrids can be used to do BRM’s and long rides . Albeit the options as mentioned for a road bike purely from posture point of view and true but it’s not that they are super comfortable especially for people who may be over weight .
