Serious carpal tunnel issues say no way to a road bike. I've no problem doing 80 mile plus rides with my Trek FX4 Sport SL. Different riders, different rides.
Also when u need the extra speeds. A road bike will have it. Some hybrids only have a one by or a 3 by, heavier tires. But hybrids be heavier making them, yes comfortable but heavier. Roads are way lighter while having more gears
Great analysis! But personally I just dealt with it by getting aero bars with a nice bend so I can get extra 2 positions and get myself into a different one too
As someone who started on a Hybrid and went to a Road Bike, I always tell people Hybrids are more comfortable for the first 45 minutes to 1 hour. After that, Road Bikes are more comfortable. For me it was mainly that way too much weight was on the saddle, where with a road bike you get a better distribution between the saddle, your hands (but only a little), and your feet.
I'm running a 5070ti but I need to turn on VRR, DLLS, Vsync, frame gen and so 😂 bro why not just say hey are game runs like ass and we have no plans right now to do anything about it.
Rubbish, you can adopt close grip position on a hybrid bike. You can sit up and ride no handed if circumstances permit. I’ve ridden French end to end and the hybrid was a breeze compared to the same route years before on a road bike. It’s all down to personal preference!
Wrong !! 100% in a long ride you should have a lot of position to stretch out to release numbness and make circulation of your blood to make it good and your relaxation can often be change..so your muscle will not be so stress.
You can change the bars a lot easier on a flat bar bike and if its a comfortable position for you then you don't need to constantly change your position. Plus you can easily add bar ends or other bar extensions to a flat bar if you need to change positions. Flat bar bikes are more versatile.
Let's be honest. A lot of times it's down to the softness of the saddle and the ergonomics of the grips. On my "hybrid" "90s MTB setup I was albe to ride 100km (4 hours) with the limiting factor being…
…my legs! Also, I traversed a very mountainous terrain, with climbs and descents I'm rapid succession.
That’s not entirely correct and hybrids can be used to do BRM’s and long rides . Albeit the options as mentioned for a road bike purely from posture point of view and true but it’s not that they are super comfortable especially for people who may be over weight .

Which would you choose?
1. Boardman
2. Trek
3. Cannon
4. Bianchi
If the frame design is similar on both designs, then is it only the handle that's visibly different? Thank You.
Flat bars with inner bar ends or alt bars. Best of both worlds.
So just put drop bars on it 🤯
Could you put the road/gravel bar handles on this bike and make it a gravel bike?
20 to 30 miles short distance 😂😂😂

I’m gonna get a recumbent.

Had a Kona Dew Hybrid. Best thing I ever did was add Bar End Handles… I now ride Trek Domane 2.0 with over 23,000 miles.
I think if they don’t know…the answer is a hybrid bike.
That’s a lovely clear explanation. I was really impressed. Long time road biker here.
Holy that red bike is a beautiful bike

One hand position? There's 3….
More about handlebar type …
Bar ends give you multiple hand positions… And one is a neutral position similar to riding the hoods.
Can you convert that bike into an ebike

Thanks for explaining it well.
So you get a hybrid with a drop bar and bobs your uncle you invented a gravel bike
Bar ends on a hybrid will help on longer rides.
What if i had a hybird bike and change the handle bars to a drop bar would that be good
Stunt Racer FX ran like trash. Game could barely hit 12fps. Still game had me cause it looked cool and the cars reminded me of RC cars.
WCW doesn’t have Jim Gordon Ramsey Ryan?

Song number 3 😂👍
In the Philippines mountain bikes are the default with how bad our roads are
Also has no suspension, so bumps will give you body aches

Just install inner bar ends and you good to go.
Great advice!! I concur from my own experience ❤
Or go no handed to stretch your back
You don’t even ride a car for 3 h straight without stopping. These arguments are wrong.
Hybrid bikes are for smaller budgets, for people looking to ride smaller distances, usually inside cities where there is traffic and pedestrians.
Road bikes are for riding as long as possible, mostly for riding smooth, usually straight rural roads.
If hybrid bike is for riding in the park and around the neighbourhood, road bike is for riding between towns.
Think of hybrids as Swiss Army knives not great at anything but good at everything
Bar ends on my Trek dual sport 3 gen 5 😊hybrid bike solves everything. Multiple positions and I can use it for different terrain
Hybrid bike is pure torture for long distances my back always hurts
Great informative video! Thanks
can anyone tell me the 1st bikes wheel size?
Informative 🎉
Can you just swap to a drop bar on a hybrid and it’s basically a road bike/gravel bike?
Don’t get a hybrid bike, waste of money. Get a road bike with an endurance geometry. Why limit your riding from the start?

Alt bars can solve that. Drop bars are overrated
I'll rest my hands on the downtube and steer with my forehead. I'm very aero.

I think that that's che only problem.
Leaning too much is very stressful on my back
Hybrids are great touring bikes i do long distances all the time no problem on a hybrid.
