    Mate that’s the way it’s done. Not familiar with those pedals specifically but you should be able to adjust the clip out tension to make it a bit easier. Just remember while you’re learning to always clip one shoe out before a stop. It’ll save you the embarrassment. Though frankly I think the shame is how most people learn.

  2. i do it on both my road and mountain shoes (bad habit, i know). just be aware that depending on the crank position and maybe cleat setback that clipping out inwards can cause the rear wheel to hit/ingest the shoe.

  3. Set b the clip in / clip out tension as low as it goes. Then if you are pulling your shoe off the pedals, start to tighten them.
