First time having a bike since i was a kid, what do i do? How do I repair this. It seems I can shimmy it a little bit and the nipple(?) moves a little bit (the silver cylinder on the outer sides of the wheel)
You broke a spoke. It’s relatively easy to repair if you know what you’re doing and have the right tools, but based on this question, I’m going to assume you do not (no offense intended). Take it to a bike shop and they can fix it for you.
If you want to do it yourself, start by googling “spoke replacement” and shopping for specialized bike tools.

Take it to your local bike shop. They can fix it easily. You can do it yourself, but you need special tools.

You would need to
Remove the broken spoke
Determine the correct length and gauge spoke
If the broken spoke is behind the cassette, remove the cassette and spoke protector using a chain whip and a cassette removal too,
Replace the spoke (there is a specific lacing pattern, ie over, under the other spokes)
Tighten the spoke with a spoke wrench to the correct tension and true the wheel.
A bike shop might charge $40 to do this for you.
