  1. Do you have a kickstand? Or do you just lean your bike against stuff? Some saddles are a little bit more hardwearing than others, like the Brooks cambium serie.

    A few stitches and some shoe goo might do the trick, or a automotive vinyl leather repair kit.

    Black caulking and masking tape to shape?
    Since the area compresses, hard to make a rigid patch.
    Sugru if you can get it, a flexible silicone plastic repair material.

    Tape up the hole and get a bike seat cover to go over it, and it’ll be as good as new.

  5. I would probably use some black epoxy to fill in the hole and still be flexible. I don’t think tape will work, but you may end up feeling the epoxy.

    Perhaps epoxying / attaching a strip of fabric around the hole might be better?
