This Is What Happen If Your Kayak Flips!
(πΉ wild_bones_ on TT)
This is what happens if your kayak capsizes and you lose your paddle. First, if the boat flips and you end up in the water, stay calm and quickly grab the extra paddle from beneath the boat. But make sure to connect the two pieces of the paddle properly without hurrying or forcing it. The key is to stay calm while doing it so everything fits and works right. But once you have your paddle, gently turn your body a bit and paddle to the left with some force. And like that your boat will automatically start turning on its

Nah man Iβm panicking ππππππ₯π₯
From a kayaker o can confirm that on white water you should never let go of your paddle and we donβt have spares so you either hand roll and try to make it safely out or get out of the boat as this is sea kayaking which is a lot easier than slalom kayaking
βLike that your boat will start turning on its ownβ ππππ nuh uh lil bro
Great this just made me lose all interest in kayaking
Gently turn your body a bit. Good night Irene
Just donβt buy a kayak like this one and your fine
Just get out the kayak
I do something like that Iβm real situations. But I take out only a half paddle and roll up with a half paddle. Not difficult and no need to assemble the paddle.
This is 100% ridiculous
I was dead for a minute
First lesson in white water kayaking – keep paddle grabed even when you get out of the kayak.
Well that was horrifying
Pull ur strap and swim up
This is definitely satire.
Automatically is questionable
You can leave the sit of kayak when you get capsize
Who else looked this up while they were flipped underwater. This saved my life thx
you had me cracked up with … grab your extra paddle….. aint nobody carries an extra paddle with them.
Or have a. paddle leash so you don't loose your paddle!
Do a hand roll π noob
Not every kayak is built like this.
Yeah but if all else fails you just gotta wet exitβ€β€
That has to be the most unstable kayak, I have ever seen.
What if i kayak places where you cant event see the bottom?
I think its a lot easier said than done
π
When you forget hand rolls exist
Or you just do what I did when I was 17, fall completely out and hit my head on the kayak on the way back up, giving me a concussion for the rest of the trip π π
Wait… You'll just drown upside down if you don't have a backup paddle?
What if your extra paddle isnβt there when youβre under water?
Yeah itβs not that easy you need to leave your head on the side/shoulder otherwise you will go back down, so much more than just showing a video in case ofβ¦
Hahahaha. Please, go forth and attempt to roll yourself back up the first time you flip over. Also grab that extra Greenland paddle (clearly the paddle a novice will have strapped to their kayak) and take your time putting it together slowly, underwater, on that breath of air you likely didnβt get to take.
Yes rolling is the correct recovery but if you manage this the first time you end up upside down in a kayak, you are the paddle master.
Eject, learn to scramble, enjoy pumping.
Or simply buy a 36' Formula SS with twin Mercury 496's and never have to worry about flipping and drowning under a $299 plastic kayak you purchased at Dick's Sporting Goods.
Or just hand roll????
What the hell he was under water for like 10 minutes. Ainβt nobody got time for that!
If your not that experienced it's not that easy to roll a kayak
Good thing I found this, I got my kayak unflipped now.
A lot easier to remain calm when you have a nose clip on lol
Bad suggestion, one will be easily stuck and got killed lolπ. Good suggestion is to properly and timingly exit the kayakβ¦.
sorry i dont trust ai for anything
