2007 Anniversary Stumpjumper. 19". Good shape no rust or dents, but some scratches; stored indoors. 3×9 drivetrain, Rivendell Bullmoose handlebar, cliffhanger wheels, Paul thumbies, C17 saddle, Vans grips. Local pick up.
I’d pay that much for an OG one that’s lugged, but there is a pretty square trade-off with this already having modern components on it. this would save you on virtually every upgrade an xbike dork like me would do and it’s got a cool badge saying you’re super special, so this price seems fair.

Would rather have an old beat up one that is original vs one that has a bunch of modern upgrades.

$3-400 max. Stumpys are desireable, no doubt. The days of $150 vintage Stumpjumbers are behind us. $750 is smoking crack tho.
edit: 3-400 in mint condition, this one is not.

It’s a built up museum quality bike. I wouldn’t mind owning it but I’d feel really bad about damaging the paint if it ever fell down.

I bought a mint 1991 Stumpjumper for 190. and I thought that was over-paying but I liked the grey color with the red lettering. You bike there is pretty but you can buy a lot of old minty stump jumpers for less than 750. Offer $500. That’s high and not an insulting lowball offer (And I think you’ll get it b/c I doubt he’s getting 750)

Value is there in the nicer parts. Looks pretty sick to me.

Nostalgia is a powerful drug sold at a premium. Old school graphics aside, it’s a clunky old frame with a tank of a seatpost and a whole slew of mediocre components being sold for way more than it’s worth because it’s a “limited edition.” I get it, and people will pay for it, but for me, this is a $300 bike all day. At most. If someone wants to pay $1000+ for it (or $750), I won’t judge, but for me, hard nope.
$150 my limit. I let this one get away last week, it was $120. Tange prestige, Deore DX.
Description: Vintage Specialized Stumpjumper mountain bike. 20 inches frame size. No major scratches, dents, or damage Always stored indoors and regularly maintained
