you can’t pedal a bike backwards cuz there’s a ratchet in the rear hub so if you pedal backwards it just goes we could bypass that ratchet but then we’d be able to Pedal both backwards and forward and we just want to be able to Pedal backwards so instead we can flip the whole rear wheel around which puts the cassette and Ratchet facing the other way if we also flip around pedals and crank we get a bike that now pedals backwards next we take the chain and install it in figure8 instead of a loop so pedaling forward makes you go backwards now we’re done that’s it that was the whole build you watched the entire [Music] [Applause] thing normally

  1. If I can ride a unicycle on a tight rope and a bicycle that stears in reverse I can ride this thing, might have to build one just to break my, I mean prove it….😅

  2. That's a freewheel not a cassette. Freewheel systems have the sprockets and ratchet in one package and it threads onto the hub, meanwhile with cassette the sprockets and ratchet (freehub) are separate with the freehub being a part of the hub.
