you can’t pedal a bike backwards cuz there’s a ratchet in the rear hub so if you pedal backwards it just goes we could bypass that ratchet but then we’d be able to Pedal both backwards and forward and we just want to be able to Pedal backwards so instead we can flip the whole rear wheel around which puts the cassette and Ratchet facing the other way if we also flip around pedals and crank we get a bike that now pedals backwards next we take the chain and install it in figure8 instead of a loop so pedaling forward makes you go backwards now we’re done that’s it that was the whole build you watched the entire [Music] [Applause] thing normally

Would you ride this bike for $100? 👀🤕
Just buy a fixed gear bruh
dude, what I was thinking
😝👍
Bro forgot that riding and stealing are 2 seperate activities
Juat a question doesn't either the cassette or the crank get loose while crossing the chain?
It can be stolen it is just hard to ride it
I don't bother with changing the drivetrain every day, I always take the saddle off the bike 😂
Anyone half decent at riding Fakie could ride it to their truck and snag it
I once had a bike that brakes when you tried to pedal backwards
If I can ride a unicycle on a tight rope and a bicycle that stears in reverse I can ride this thing, might have to build one just to break my, I mean prove it….😅

If you want to drive a bike backwards
Think backwards
Reverse your brain
You’ll need to reverse the caster angle to make it balance when there’s speed
Just sit on the handle bars, riding a bike backwards is easy when you get used to it
This but also with the opposite steering.
That's too much work. I prefer removable wheels.
Anyone with a pickup truck or a van can tell you, that bike most certainly CAN be stolen.
Why…..
Wait until they find out about fixed gear riding.
but the paddelling goes forward to go backwards right?
Uh sir… I think my cycle isn't cycling anymore….
You can pedal backwards, you just need to know how to kickback
That's a freewheel not a cassette. Freewheel systems have the sprockets and ratchet in one package and it threads onto the hub, meanwhile with cassette the sprockets and ratchet (freehub) are separate with the freehub being a part of the hub.
Just buy a fixie
Can't be stolen eh? True if you don't have a pickup truck.
I don’t know if they still do this but on children’s bikes attempting to peddle backwards is how you break.
Just pick it up and carty/walk away with it
