    Was the shift cable always that long? It looks OK, and if it’s shifting as it was before, I’d say send it.

  2. That little screw with blue threadlock in the middle of pic 2 should sit on a tab on the hanger. The mech should not point downwards but straight back. So you should remove the derailleur, see the tab on the hanger, and install so screw meets the tab.

    Idk if my pic helps.

    Edit: I think I was a bit off with the angle, but as long as the screw sits on the tab it’s good.

    Looks both upside down and misinstalled to me.

    The B-screw arm tab isn’t hitting the tab on the derailer hanger. It needs to rotate counterclockwise (clockwise if you’re working on it upside-down).
