The arrow will always be backwards on one side. The important thing is that the arrow is on the correct side when looking at it from the drive side, which appears correct from the photo.

What did you lube your chain with? Butter?
Tirglo on
The outside arrow should follow the direction of the chain. If that is on the bottom of the rotation, which it looks like it is, that is correct.

Is that the front wheel? If so yes!

I hear waxing is better than oiling ?

What? There’s an arrow!
I’m riding around 5K miles a year my wife 3K on multiple bikes over multiple years and never realised there’s an arrow 🤣
So for probably 50% of the time the arrow was facing the wrong way and we’ve not had any problems.

You can’t make both arrows go the same way

The arrow tells you which way to pull to lock the link. I guess in case it wasn’t obvious

I think only Shimano quick links are one directional only so you’re fine.

i use a drip wax from squirt. just use cloth to get excess of the chain and a cutter for the cassette an chaincogs

You installed it correctly. Arrow has to point in a right direction on the outer side, inner side will be “wrong”

That same arrow will be pointing forward when you turn the crank until the link is on the upper part, rather than the bottom
