  1. Can be argued it’s different enough probably. Also it’s likely not worth the legal fees and terrible optics that brings.

  2. This is just one of many that are similar to the Jones H-bar. 1. Lawyers are crazy expensive. 2. The optics would be terrible, especially as, 3. Jones produces other bars that are riffs on long-established designs.

    Anybody who actually respects and wants the dependable quality of the Jones bars ain’t buying the cheap copies, anyway. £50-ish saving ain’t gonna buy you new teeth.

  3. Just looked up the patent and it began in 2004. So now 20 years later the patent should have expired?
