It’s a fair deal, I think and something that you can update and build on.
It looks like you have a mixed Shimano Sora and FSA group set. I would consider updating the crankset first as I personally don’t really rate FSA. For the frame it’s probably worth updating to a full Shimano Tiagra set, but probably not higher than that.
Also as a side note if you aren’t used to clipped pedals SPD-2 can be a tough start so you could pick up some cheap dual sided SPD pedals to get used to the feel of clipping in and out.
