  1. You should look at the company’s website for specs instead of the reseller.

    This *sounds* like they are QR and have other endcaps available separately, but also sounds like it’s normal road 12mm TAs.

  2. The other thing to note is that the hub spacing on a QR is different than a thru axle. There are conversion kits available sometimes depending on hub type.

  3. You would need a set of end caps / “conversion kit” for the rear hub, sold separately. I am not sure why it says x-12 instead of ta-12. You can buy those wheels set up with thru axles already, if they’re on sale it’s probably because they’re quick release.

    Shop around, that’s not a good price for those wheels. Are they an upgrade or a side grade? 

    You know you can get hand built wheels from a wheel builder in that price range too right? Spokesman Wheels, Strada, Ryanbuildswheels are just a few.
