Cucumber probably provides zero calories, carbs or protein. I think it’s like 95% water.
I actually do eat pickles on the rides, get them at the gas station/convenience store. I think oh, snap brand. There’s at least some electrolytes.
But generally if I’m riding all day I bring a variety of foods with some actual calories. If I’m riding under 90 minutes the ride is without food, typically.

Audibly said “what the fuck” when I saw this. I mean, ride your own ride my guy, but a literal cucumber is not even in the top 30 of the snacks I would bring on a ride.

Stroopwaffels. High energy, taste good, and easy to fit in a jersey pocket.

When it comes to cycling, a cucumber is a waste of time. You probably want to make whatever you eat “count” but if you love cucumbers, then go for it. I do like cucumbers though. If I’m going to take something wacky with me on a bike I’m carrying an entire package of Oreos.

So basically water. There are better p.s.o.’s out there. Like a banananana

Ritz crackers seem to prevent stomach cramps, have plenty of carbs and salt and are cheap and available anywhere in the US.

Snack? I thought that was your self defense! You probably keep that in the front part of your chamois.

A large cucumber is like 34 calories, that’s not even a snack, it’s just extra weight.
