GenericName187 on January 7, 2025 7:43 pm They are called interruptor levers. You can remove them, but you would need to redo the brake cables.
EdZep789 on January 7, 2025 7:47 pm For your info searching, try inline brakes, or safety brakes. I haven’t worked on them… but, I think you can re-use your cables, but will have to get new outer housings.

Simple to remove but you’ll need new brake housing.
