Been experiencing some serious chain drop while riding gravel trails. Due to my frame not having a brazed on mount, I found this Wolftooth chain guide that mounts to the seat tube. Seems to work fine after installing and I did not tighten the bolt too tight. Not sure now many NM but just want to make sure I won’t damage anything.

It is fine, but yea you want to be careful about not clamping too tight. I’d probably get some carbon paste under the clamp too to prevent it slipping and you don’t need to torque it as much. Finish line makes some good stuff that is cheap
It’s pretty unnecessary IMO, I’ve never knocked a chain off a SRAM 1x setup
Your chainring looks petty worn, might want to consider replacing that and your chain at the same time. Will probably resolve chain drop issues.
Gravel shouldn’t be enough to knock a chain off. Doing mountain maybe. Sounds like you have other issues; like too much chain angle, derailer gone bad/sticky/bad spring, not a narrow wide chain ring or something.
Do you have a clutch in your derailer?
