26×2.1 gravelking SK on a 1988 Specialized Hardrock (u brake). I tried to get calipers in there as best I could. It’s somewhere ~2.5mm range I reckon.

This is probably not a good idea and you know it.
Looks good to me.
Those brake levers move outwards, right? So, while not braking your clearance is as tight as it’s gonna get. Id say it’s fine

Plenty good for road path and gravel.
Potential problem for goopy mud.
2.5mm is small clearance for most frames. However, Specialized Hardrock uses pretty thick steel tubing so I’m not super concerned about the frame getting worn away. I would be concerned because those frames are also pretty noodlely
