Those brake levers move outwards, right? So, while not braking your clearance is as tight as it’s gonna get. Id say it’s fine

2.5mm is small clearance for most frames. However, Specialized Hardrock uses pretty thick steel tubing so I’m not super concerned about the frame getting worn away. I would be concerned because those frames are also pretty noodlely
