Tossing my hat into the ring for "shake and bake"…dry and dusty, hard edge rocks with loose pebbles and undulating surface. Depending on the mood, it can be fun or just damn frustrating.

In Brazil we call that one as crocante, crunchy. If it’s muddy we call it cremosa.

(Around me it is ALL like this, which is why I am going towards a hardtail MTB instead of a dedicated gravel bike to complement my 12yo cyclocross bike.)

I have a question. When riding on that do you steer around nasty looking rocks (which involves studying the terrain ahead) or do you just roll over them whilst admiring the view?
I guess if you have 45mm tyres the answer will be different than if you are on 32mm.

Chunder, it’s kinda nice with the correct set up. Chunder and Hero gravel are my favorites.
