  1. Looks like your rim strip isn’t laying flat and the edges are sticking up which is cutting into your tube. You would likely be best off replacing it with some actual rim tape rather than a rim strip.

    Have you run your finger along the inside of your tire once in each direction (CW and CCW?)

    There could be a thorn or foxtail stuck in your tire as well.

  3. Well are the punctures on the inside part of the tube that sits on the rim tape or on the outside part that pushes against the inner tire?

    Hard to know without seeing the rim. But if there’s nothing stuck in the tire (thorn, glass shard, etc) then it’s likely a rim strip issue. I would suggest Velox or tubeless/3m tape. Even if you don’t run tubeless it works pretty dang well as a solid rim strip.
