This is really common on aluminium freewheel bodies when using cassettes that have loose cogs. Not a problem, keep riding.

Totally ubiquitous. Hunt wheels have a clever steel insert to prevent this though.

Yes, but I’d try to find a cassette with as few loose cogs as possible. Loose ones are going to keep doing that and increase the depth of the nicks. Got one like that. Been using it for at least 10 years, but I have 17 rideable bikes so my 10 years riding the bike are like most folks several months. Wait until the loose cogs get stuck on there. Been there and done that. Not fun getting them off.

It’s a bit late to prevent the damage, but making sure you torque the lock ring to the max torque may help mitigate how much worse this gets. It’s pretty common on aluminum HG freehubs and some cassettes will cause this no matter the lock ring torque.

Ride it. If the cogs are getting stuck, file the burrs down and carry on

Campagnolo aluminum bodies have deeper grooves than Shimano style and fewer problems. More contact area.

I have ridden way worse. There’s a lot of life left as long as the cassette/cogs don’t get stuck.
