  1. The paint is pretty rough, someone’s homemade singlespeed, 150$ at most, maybe more in a hipster area, I bet the chainline is screwy unless the wheel has been dished, I would pass unless you just want to rebuild it

  2. $100, give or take. But it’s really only worth anything if a) you want a full resto project, or b) you want to xbile the frame.

  3. Not much. If its a Gran Sport its a decent frame, if its a Grand Prix its a Nottingham built Raleigh so a bit heavy with proprietary Raleigh threading.

Edit- that font and the letter R make me think 1970s. Does the head badge say Raleigh of America, or does it say built in Canada anywhere?

  4. The turkey wings indicate middle 70’s; Weinmann center-pulls were replaced; wheels swapped to Aluminum alloy 27″. Cottered cranks replaced with alloy cotterless. Tires look good. Clean it up and make it a 10 speed again. Easy fix with the brazed stop on down-tube. clear $250US or keep it in drydock, it will appreciate, then unload it for $300US. I have a couple like this one and they are real solid, multipurpose machines. I ride a beat up 70 record and it was worth restoring (fork was bent). Trick was to keep it looking rough, but tuned like a top! Really, change the rear gear for a 5’er freewheel. $10 changeout worth wonders. I dig those 27″ rollers!

You can use it’s serial number and go to the Raleigh Web site and chat or contact with them, they will give you everything you need to know about it. It is a nice looking bicycle.. I’m gonna say it depends on your location and the condition it is in for what it is worth.. if it was mine I would just keep it..
