  1. I wonder how long it will take to recoup the energy cost of making the 800 sqm house ( for two people) vice the energy output that the house will produce. I prefer the house with the lady a few episodes ago who tried to minimize her footprint whilst building her dream home. She was a carpenter that had a great design and fantastic finishes. And she did it herself.

  2. Gday from Aus! Really enjoyed this episode! Absolutely amazing house. I love the roof shape. Congratulations!
The world needs innovators. Risk takers are the real innovators.
The scale of the house is not my cup of tea….but using this building method on more affordable homes would be really beneficial for someone to accomplish for the future of sustainable domestic construction globally. Well done guys.

  3. there's a lot of unfinished houses this season, isn't there? Most of them nearly there, but not quite. Hope they go back and visit once done.

  4. I've noticed lately these builders don't want the house finished then they will have nothing to do or talk about, poor wives are left with no house to move into, get them moving and finish for god's sake !!!

  5. I find it hilarious that a lawyer who has worked on the highest profile divorces in the country and is feared in her profession; still doesn’t want to fight local planning councils…… speaks volumes at our dire planning situation in the UK.

  6. So many people end up with houses that are much bigger than they thought. People need to start spray painting the floor plan on the site before they build!

  7. AH! You said it CORRECTLY!
A 'helix', not 'spiral' for the staircase!
(well… at the 6:13 mark, anyway. Let's see if you keep saying it correctly. For, as WE ALL KNOW, a spiral curves inward. Oh, OH!!!! I'm all aflutter!)
