Sure. SLX are the golden standard of good brakes with high value/cost ratio.

I like the blm4100 with mt 420. They brake good are 4 piston a set is around 115 to 170.- .

Man I have had terrible luck with 3 different SLX calipers leaking fluid at the piston. I could be wrong, but believe the seals tend to dry up if stored for any period of time. I’ve gone through a lot of contaminated brake pads, even removed the pistons to check seals for contaminates to no luck.
I fixed my XC bike by switching to Hayes Dominions, but am still dealing with a problem rear SLX caliper on my fat bike. Anyone else running into this, or have a fix?
