[Ep. 1123] Cycling in Pamplona (Spain) from a Dutch perspective. Fourteen years after a delegation from Pamplona-Iruña visited me in the Netherlands, I finally made it to the city myself. I went to look at its cycling infrastructure, but an unexpected surprise made the visit even more memorable.

I didn't expect, at all, to see a video in my region, I love it <3
Thank you for being such a great ambassador for cycling as transportation. I always enjoy it when you share your visits from other countries to hear what you think.
well done for calling out those 90 degree bends in cycle tracks
we have a few of them in London's supposedly Cycle Superhighways – they are so dangerous, especially for new users
And you managed to not get gored by a bull, amazing!
I tried searching for granny bikes with no luck. What is the type?
i would love to hear your opinion on Turin in italy
4:35 is a perfect example of separate infrastructure not needed. The road looks like it has quite a low speed, so they should just have bikes share the road with cars. Heck, they could even use the space that is currently separate bikelane for parking cars, which would narrow the driving area which causes car drivers to drive more carefully/slower. Or they can repurpose the current separate bikelane space into a wider sidewalk.
3:10 As they say, the Dutch bring their own weather anywhere we go. 😂
Congratulations on the award; and thank you for the tour.
