  1. Monaco doesn't have a tax crippling Nanny State like the UK or an anti fun Police force why don't you write to your local MP to try to get the EU to put sanctions on him ?
I think a solid white line in the middle of the road is just Cocaine falling out of the locals windows as they drive around the streets 😊

  2. We are not talking about a regular cyclist.
He has skills and power to use those skills that only a few such as MVP WvA have.
The guy can hit cobbles to 50kmh ffs, his reaction times are like a frecking cat

  3. it's very simple – you drive on road, you need to do it within laws of country. If cyclist don't care about laws > they loose right to expect other people to be lawfull.

  4. Pogy's riding can be called a bit sketchy, but reckless? I personally saw zero significant risk taking – pretty much just an ordinary city ride with some unnecessary rules braking.

  5. If driver's knew this is the greatest cyclist on the planet, they maybe more comfortable with it. Pogi gets lumped in however with all the slugs who break the law and give cyclists a bad name. It isn't just cagers as mentioned in the video. No, cyclists too are complicit in engendering hate.
Lets take me. I am old now and have been riding for decades. I don't do stuff like this because I am not a huge risk taker and why I am still riding but I am no Pogacar who is superman on a bicycle who can ride like this which greater skill than I can and I raced bicycles and motorcycles.
Not the first formula 1 driver busted for breaking he rules on public roads. Me? I am a bit in the meh camp about this and see both sides. My view on the whole laughable, he is so humble…versus arrogant and entitlement debate, its always viewed from the lens of mediocrity. There is no such thing as a humble world's champion. They operate in another dimension and time zone. They are special and feel it to their core. They process reality differently than mortals. This is no exception. Its more a perceptional problem from the average masses. People aren't created equal.

  6. I live in Italy… here is absolutely normal… he is as fast as a scooter, so he rides like a scooter would do.

If it was a motorcycle to do that no one would have even questioned it

  7. In the second clip you can clearly see cars and motorcycles having to squeeze over to make room for these guys. So right off the bat they're being inconsiderate assholes. However, the fact that people are defending that behavior shows exactly why social media is so problematic. It's not that many of us haven't done stupid, risky things; it's that like it or not those kinds of posts are tacit endorsements.

  8. Literally any cyclist that’s ridden in a congested city has done this and significantly worse. That said, anyone that’s driven in a congested city with regularity knows you have to be aggressive at times to get around slower moving traffic. Literally a nothing burger all around.

  9. He’s a professional rider so the team will have the final say. Will this put some drivers off with other riders? Yes, of course. Will other riders try to mimic his riding in traffic yes of course. What’s the answer? I don’t know. Know your limits know your ability. Could he get a kid killed yeah

  10. There is no justification.
If we want to be treated fairly and car drivers to drive safely, it'd be nonsense to give us special rights.
Either you obey the rules or shut it about reckless car drivers.

  11. I see a lot of people talking about Pogacar and how he is a phenomenal rider. Doesn't matter. We don't have laws to keep INDIVIDUALS safe. We have laws to keep EVERYONE safe. He knows the roads. The people around him might not. He is a professional cyclist and athlete with amazing reflexes. The people around him are not. It's not about him being in danger, it's about him putting other people in danger. And even if it is normal for cyclists to behave like this or worse, that does not mean that it is the right thing to do. Just because there is worse out there, doesn't make what he did right.
It takes just one person in that situation that gets nervous and panicy and a desaster can happen. That's why we have those rules and why we should stick to them. Even if we are the best at what we do.

  12. “Millions of young fans”
Lads calm down he’s not Messi.

Also, that was absolutely reckless riding. The second clip in particular is just pure stupidity.

  13. All I can say is people are gonna whine about every single fucking thing. We have more fucking problems to actually worry about. Maybe put your energy there instead?
