I’m wondering if the drivetrain/groupset worth the 450$ (CA) Theses are the 2 things I see standing out.
I’m down to try the 1×11 of the DL. Seems nice, but wondering if that could be a problem in the future while touring with gear. Maybe a smaller casette upgrade if needed be?
Usage will be mostly driving around the city, sometimes in the trails and also need to be able to perform bike touring in trails/city for 2-3 months travels. I don’t need to go as fast as possible, I want the smoothest and most all-around ride. Is this bike for me?
Also maybe considering the LTD and the Sutra variations.
Also is the steel frame really worth it? Never rode one before, thanks!

in terms of comfort, that’s determined by fork, tire size and wheel, more so than the frame.
wider tires, less pressure = smoother ride. and they all should be fine. as for stack to reach ratio. they are all fairly close to each other.
I personally think a better groupset is better since you do less maintenance overall, but these are all good picks.
just pick the bike you’re comfortable paying for or choose the cutest one.
