  1. So strange. I’ve had this happen but never anything that thick and no damage. And your comments are spot on, could’ve been an unscheduled ejection.

    I’m glad you only lost spokes and didn’t get hurt!

    I had this happen early this year while going down a steep section. Slid a bit before hi-siding with a nasty landing. I managed to mostly roll out of it and only injured my hand/wrist (Tore both the muscles and tendons for my pinky and ring finger as well as partially detached the muscle connecting them). I feel lucky though considering the speed and terrain though. I managed to recover enough to get some easy Autumn riding in.

    Holy crap, got like all of the spokes and then some! Glad it didn’t hurt you badly.
    Also good thing this is not a carbon rear triangle lol. That would have been toast

  4. I had that happen on a DH track one time except it just sent me flying OTB 😅

    One second I was cruisin, the next I was flat on my back wondering what the hell just happened!
