This may help you know what to expect if considering a bike ride around the “Green” lakes in early spring, on a road bike. Not the best combo, plenty of carrying, but super fun.
The early spring allows for great views, as the sun is warm and gets golden early, there’s no foliage to hide the view and it’s just great feeling it will soon be summer.
