Join me for two days exploring Berlin, Germany, as I discover just how much you can see, do and eat in this fascinating city.
From Alexanderplatz and the famous Berlin TV Tower to Museum Island, Checkpoint Charlie, the Berlin Wall, the Holocaust Memorial, Brandenburg Gate, East Side Gallery and the Reichstag, there is an incredible amount of history packed into Berlin.
I’ll also show you some of the city’s less obvious attractions, including Charlottenburg Palace and its beautiful gardens, the Französischer Dom viewing platform, the Humboldt Forum and Berlin’s Icebar.
Along the way, I’ll show you how I get around Berlin using the U-Bahn, S-Bahn and buses, including buying tickets with the BVG app, as well as sharing some of the food I tried along the way, including bratwurst and schnitzel.
I’ve also included some free things to do and some ideas for when the weather isn’t on your side.
