I ride from Save to Muxungue, across Sofala region, in Central Mozambique, in Africa.
Today is a shorter day to the last town because a long stretch of road without electricity. I ride through the bush on a road with very little traffic, yet as soon as I stop, the few other cars stop to come to take pictures of me. At some point, a truck driver comes to greet and he gives me money. The friendliness and hospitality of Mozambican people is quite extraordinary. Later on, I meet an interesting mixed couple traveling in an old French car. Finally, I reach Muxungue, where there is a nice fancy lodge where I can rest and recharge my batteries.

You are missing out on all the riots in France. It is tragic to see ultra-left elements dressed in black-clad clothing burn down the stunning and beautiful 143-year-old Hôtel de Ville building. Very sad. 😢 it is not possible to build a building like that again, it would cost millions.
It looks like a war zone on the streets of some parts of France, with the smoke and tear gas. I don't mind protests, but not the destruction of property, especially buildings of cultural significance. I hope and pray they settle down soon. 🙏

That pineapple looked so juicy and soft. The pineapples we get here, are not soft at all, they are almost like apples. This must be a different variety just like there are different variety of mangoes. The Alphonso mangoes are my favorite.
