What is Paris Brest Paris?

2027 sees the next running of the classic 1,200km Paris Brest Paris – the world’s oldest cycling event (which even has its own cake!).
It happens every four years and attracts riders from around the world attempting the route in under 90 hours (including sleeps).
You need to qualify by completing rides of 200, 300, 400 and 600km in the preceding months – you can find a selection of suitable events on the Audax UK website (if you’re in the UK or don’t mind travelling!)
