Final edit: got the pedal out. But is this seriously a thing that happens?
Can someone help me right now? The suspension thing (edit 3: thanks to the sticky I now know that the thing that fell off is just the bottom of the saddle stem) fell off and now the pedal is stuck in the hind frame. I stashed the mangled bike at the uni to pick up my daughter from the kindergarten in time (edit 1: was still late by ten minutes after grabbing an e-citybike). How can I fix this. I'm going home to find bike tools.
Edit 2: is this a thing? I was offered a three day rental from our local Junction store to test a Brompton out and even given a 10% discount were I to buy. It's been a load of frustrations so far as each time I fold it together in the wrong sequence something gets stuck or falls off.
Edit 4: I'm back and thankfully nobody took the bike! Here's a closeup of what happened. https://imgur.com/gallery/GBpmVi2
Edit 5: I managed wrangle the pedal out after lots of coaxing and twisting, but the bars are now scratched up pretty badly 🙁

Do you know someone with a crank puller?
What happens if you remove the rear wheel?
Is it pushing against the tire? If so let air out of the tire and maybe it’ll let it loose.
You got no training for folding? Wow
When unfolding unfold the pedal first; when folding fold the pedal last; never fold or unfold with the pedal folded.
