After a beautiful morning, we start the day with a simple and delicious omelette before going our separate ways.

The UK cyclist heads back for a repair, while my Belgian cycling friend continues ahead for another commitment. I decide to take it slow and enjoy the road on my own. 🚴‍♂️

And what a ride it turns out to be! 😍

I ride through long and dangerous tunnels, climb along massive mountains, and follow some of the most beautiful river-side roads in Serbia. The scenery feels unreal — huge cliffs, crystal-clear water and winding roads through the mountains. 🌊⛰️

Along the way, I even come across a mole and have a funny little moment with this tiny creature! 😂

Later, I stop to buy some groceries, and something unexpected happens — some Serbian locals offer me beer! 🍻 We share a drink, talk and enjoy the moment together. This is one of the things I love most about travelling by bicycle — meeting people and experiencing their kindness along the way. ❤️

Finally, I reach my hotel, finish the day’s ride, and start editing the vlog. I keep working until around midnight, before finally calling it a night. 😴💻
