  1. Ooohhhhhhh this is the bike for me! I love riding long distance, but everything I have now feels like a pale shadow of the bike it should have been: this bike!

Edit to say: a waterproof wireless charger from Quad Lock has been a game changer compared to physically plugging in a cable. …or forgetting to plug it in until my phone is about to die on a ride. The wireless charger is just always charging whenever my phone is mounted, no cable to remember, bump into, or short out in rain.

  2. Cool bike, but I believe it's a poor choice for an international trip. So many complicated and expensive parts that could break, and it would be nearly impossible to repair or replace them in most of the world.

  3. It's amazing how that front hub dynamo charges that battery enough to power the lights AND charge your phone. I've had plenty in the past and they aren't always all that fantastic unfortunately, so they must have been made a lot more efficient nowadays!

  4. It's pretty neat but my 9 speed cross bike that's lasted thousands of miles costed my $300 barely used and has been my faithful steed ever since. My rides are not ever longer than 40 miles at a time and if I was going across the continent on 2 wheels for that price I'd buy a motorcycle. Definitely cool engineering, but if it were important to have the Chinese market would make this bike for 2k

  5. Shock absorber built into a stem is a real piece of shit, it doesn't work. Buy a regular air MTB fork, and believe me, the pleasure of riding compensates for the unbearable suffering from the extra kilogram of weight.
