Our European journey continues as we leave Bayreuth and head south to Regensburg. This time, the distance is shorter – giving us time to slow down and explore one of Germany’s most beautiful historic cities.
We park the Zontes 368G, walk through the old town and discover Regensburg’s churches, small streets and impressive cathedral before continuing our journey through Europe.
This trip isn’t about covering as many kilometres as possible. It’s about taking the time to stop, look around and enjoy the places we would normally pass by.

  1. Hi Marc and Vanessa! Some of your scenery looks a bit like areas in Southern California (or as I call it, "commiefornia", LOL!) which is to say beautiful! Our hills are bone dry now and we are hoping to get an "El Nino" this coming year as the lakes and reservoirs are all quite low. The best El Nino we had in my lifetime was back in the early '80s where it rained almost, if not every day for over a month! Glorious rain, filling the lakes and reservoirs! The last few days here have all been in the low 100 degrees F.

Your churches are beautiful! My mother used to tell me that the artwork of mankind wasn't restricted to painting and sculpture but that it also included architecture and that churches were among the best examples of mankind's creativity and reverence toward God and His creation: Mankind. I used to visit Civil War era churches and graveyards when travelling for work. They are nice but for the most part, nothing like the Churches of Europe!

    Thank you both!

    SS in America!!!

  2. 5:40 17.5l !! 😲 That's better than most motorcycles. For both your Enzo and Leo tours, you've really been spoiled by the magnificent scenery and superb roads, haven’t you? And after your solo trip on the Lambretta, it must be nice to have someone to share the experience with this time with Vanessa. Allzeit gute Fahrt! 🛵

  3. Another fun video that’s inspiring me to travel again… The scooter in my garage is definitely mad at me—I missed out on some really nice weather.

  4. What an amazing ride! The roads and scenery are absolutely beautiful 👌🏍️🌿 Looks like you had a fantastic trip. Wishing you many more safe and enjoyable rides! 🤍

  5. Hi marc! Thank you for your beautiful videos! How Leo is going? Do the rear suspensions make a good job with vanessa and all the luggage?
Does she feel comfortable in the rear seat?
Are you satisfied about tyres and brakes?
Thank you and have a nice trip!

  6. Thanks guys for sharing your travels with us, it looks like you're have a fab time! Great choice of bike I think Marc! Cheers to you both!

  7. I started following you after you made the Zontec368 video. Now I'm saving up to get one and go on a trip like this. If I do get it, it will be my first bike/scooter. Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

  8. A great ride down to beautiful Regensburg, Marc and Vanessa – thanks so much for sharing with us! I'm really glad I also chose a Zontes 368G and I must plan a return trip to Germany before long, especially having lived in Hamburg and Dollerupholz (near Flensburg) for many years before retiring from Airbus and returning to England.

  9. Hi guys thanks for taking us along the church was stunning as is Bavaria, definately going to have to revisit in the future, 368G looks like it’s made for the job and Sarah loves the pillion position, Bon rout ….. Pete 🇫🇷

  10. Hi Marc and Vanessa, very good video and lovely scenery.
The 368g looks a great scooter I'm looking to replace my Honda adv350 as the rear suspension is to crashy and hurts my lower back also the windshield is to narrow and is terrible for buffering your head tried different screens but nothing works. Is the 368g good for single person touring ? By the way both of you speak very good English !
