Can you really just walk into the Negresco, Nice’s most famous hotel, without being a guest? Yes — and that’s exactly where our day begins! 🇫🇷

We start our perfect day in Nice, France with breakfast under a portrait of Louis XIV, then explore a hidden museum, grab a healthy lunch, ride the bus to Cap 3000 and end with sunset cocktails on the beach.

Along the way, we’re sharing some of our favourite Nice tips, places to eat and drink, things to do, easy public transport options, and little moments that make spending a day in Nice so much fun. And just when we thought our day was over… the sky had one more surprise for us: the solar eclipse over Nice’s Old Town.

Yes. Anyone can walk into the hotel and have breakfast or a coffee at Le Versailles, the bar on the ground floor. We paid twenty euros per person.
