  1. DQ Hauser!!!! Unreal you did nothing here. Running vasco into the barrier. There's even a white line on the ground for reference of how dirty this all was. Crossing over, then crossing OVER the line, THEN keeps pushing over MORE after already crossing over the line. What the actual eff! drifting, drifting, drifting AND making contact. There was NO squeeze point. Nothing. Absolutely no reason for Hauser to NOT hold a FAIR straight line the entire sprint. He just ran vasco into the finish line tower which impeded his finish momentum. Made unnecessary contact too. Vasco sees this barrier coming the whole time too. WTF would you be thinking? The gap at the end was so close, this cost the win for vasco. Vasco even put his arms up at the line, like WTF are you doing mate?! But he’s too much of a gentlemen to talk about it in the post race interview. And AUSSIE McCloy (who I love), who is so quick to question possible penalties on everything and everyone SAID NOTHING during the broadcast. Two aussie commentators part of the 'Hollywood Hauser' cult. Hauser did the same thing to Taylor Reid at Super League Malibu but that situation was tight and contact unavoidable so fair play. This scenario was NOT. And expected with super leagues tight racing but this is dirty WTS racing in the sport of triathlon which we do not tolerate when it’s this blatant and completely unnecessary. WAYYYYYY out of context for WTS racing. Ugly stuff, World Triathlon. Absolute garbage. This grand final is stained with the complicity of silence.

  2. Yes Yee caught them but Hauser and the two.Portugeuse ran unbelievably outsprinted Yee at his own game.Vilaca and Hauser weren't even worried about Yee when he caught absolute supreme athletes.
    Yee is compensating.

  3. With the race decided in the tens of a second, I’d be curious to see who’d win had Hauser kept his line
We give cyclists penalties for line deviation. How about introducing that to running where they sprint at 25km/h where a twist of the ankle can easily happen in these carbon shoes.

  4. Running in a straight line is very difficult for the aussies! Next year with the rules changing is going to be a good year for Hauser he can gon on all of the finish lines running like that…is going to win all !

  5. Matt Hauser had the whole road and chose to crowd and physically impede Vasco. That is not fair play it's cheating and clearly visible on the video. I'm surprised they let that slide. If Vasco did that to Hauser I'm sure there would have been a complaint filed. Vasco is the winner in my eyes.
    Great race Alex Yee!

  6. This is plain ridiculous 😜😜😜 expand the series to Central and South America and Africa and India. It's time to take triathlon to the world 🌍🌍🌍 there is too much focus on Europe and not 🚫🚫🚫👎👎👎 enough of the rest of the world 🌍🌍🌍

  7. Impressive effort from Yee and the chase packs! They did an incredible job holding the gap on the bike with the moto draft in play. While the drafting seemed less pronounced than in past races, it was still a massive factor. I’m a big fan of short-course tri, but this season's races are getting genuinely hard to watch with the ridiculous moto interference. Here’s hoping World Triathlon finally takes definitive action for the 2027 season.

  8. Everyone is picking on Hauser. This is my opinion. This is racing, it’s never going to be 100% clean. That late into a triathlon, you’re not thinking. Your only thought is to get to the finish. Both athletes were happy with the result, and that is what matters. Instead of putting Hauser down, celebrate with him and the other athletes.

  9. The top three finishers don't even seem tired. For 99.99% of the people you would have to carry them off on a stretcher after a race like that. Wow, how the internal organs of these people are truly built different.
