  1. Just get a proper bike rack. If you don’t have a hitch install a 2 inch hitch, it’s easy to do yourself. Then get a tray style rack, if cost is an issue buy used off of facebook. 

  2. People send their bikes down the gnarliest shit then act like they’ll fall apart if you look at them wrong. I wouldn’t think twice about us one of these. Just extend the seat all the way first.

    I have used one similar for years on my dropper post, never had any problems. Now the linked item looks awful and will result in so much damage. The one I have is the older Halfords one with rubber padding at both ends. Like this one.     Spend the extra money. Bikes are not cheap!
