Welcome back to E-Zee Riders! 🚲⚡
Today I’m back out on my first-generation Specialized Creo e-bike, heading into my fabulous home city of Bristol for a ride along the new waterside trail through the Temple Quarter.
Despite the typical Bristol weather throwing plenty of rain and wet roads at me, it was great to get out and explore the route alongside the River Avon. There’s something particularly enjoyable about discovering new cycling routes in your own city, and this one certainly gave me a different view of Bristol.
After following the waterside trail, I took the opportunity to explore some of Bristol’s other sights before eventually heading back home.
So grab a cuppa, sit back and join me for another E-Zee Riders adventure on two wheels! ☕🚲

Fascinating tour of some of Bristol – it's changed since I was at College there in the late 70's! Seemed almost deserted.
Great ride chub shame you got wet .stay safe mate 🚴💨👍
Great ride chub and it’s great to see ends of Bristol I haven’t seen before. You guys are blessed with a great cycling network. I’ve already got my fenders on – it’s that time now. Tempted to bring my bike down to Bristol sometime. Ps great thumbnail.
Used to go to sea scouts ( on a moored barge) opposite the Bristol brewery and I was reminded of the ever-present yeasty smell of that area. Thank you for showing the new paths. Can imagine they’d be a bit of a mare when busy with pedestrians.
Don;t use AI to make your thumbnails
All this space wasted on cyclist, its ridiculous.#ihatecyclist
The new path section seemed to have been kept pretty quiet when it was getting built, my ambulance station is literally up the road and we knew nothing. 🤣 Will check it out on my next Bristol ride. 👍🏻
Still a bit strange cycling in rain!
What wahoo/light combo mount are you using?
A bell is a good idea on busy cycle paths. And some lights.
Really enjoyed watching this, I’ve also got a Speclialized e-bike, a Levo 4, you weren’t worried about having your bike stolen or being robbed? I’ve heard reports of people taking expensive bikes at knife-point on the cycle track? I ride from Portishead into Ashton court and leigh woods pretty often, haven’t had a problem.
Hi, I did that path a couple of weeks ago, I knew nothing about it until a few days before so thought I'd go and go and have a look, your route was very similar to mine but it looks like you came from the opposite side of Bristol to me.
The bit after the station where you you said "never been ere before" off to your left would have been the Knights Templer pub just outside the station, the bridge you went under that you weren't sure of, pretty certain that's the main Temple Way that leads from the Bristol Evening Post building down to Temple Meads.
Another thing I didn't realise when I filmed mine, the floating path bit, I think that actually goes under the railway tracks.
I don't mind cycling in the rain, probably cycle more in the winter than I do in the summer as I don't like the heat.
Also lived here all of my life, it's amazing the little places you discover on a bike that you didn't know existed
Nice video
Subbed
Cheers Paul
