    – from the 80s

    – no markings, but the residue of a sticker is left

    – Shimano 600 or Dura Ace probably

    – probably not the original axle

  2. The dust shield would say the model if it was 105 or better. This is a non-series generic Shimano hub. Definitely not 600 or DA. Also 8 speed would make it mid 90s

    I’d take the freehub body off and check how it interfaces with the hub. there are a certain number of splines there. you can usually line them up to another shimano hub online to check and see which freehub it takes, then that should give you your answer. make sure you account for the bolt size and depth, cause not all of them are the same.
